The 19th International regatta “Marmaris Internationl Race week”

The 19th International regatta “Marmaris Internationl Race week” took a place in Marmaris (Turkey) (25th October, 2008-31st October, 2008). It was the most exciting and spectacular event in the year. People from different countries took place in this regatta (121 yachts and more than 1000 yachtsmen).Our team was singular, which presented Nova Kakhovka, Ukraine.
During the week there were spend 5 stages and won 5 cups. There were 4 races down the triangle in Marmaris bay and the one was offshore. Our team includes Aleksey Zhitkov, Alex Dadyka, Maksim Dadyka, Vasiliy Duma, Vladislav Duma, Igor Yakovlev, Oleg Timchenko were sailing on “Ikinci” Bavaria 39.They won 3 cups and took third place among charter yachts in general rating.
The award presentation passed in the evening. Such competitions have a great popularity among yachtsmen.
